What is a Backup Circuit?

A backup circuit allows selected essential appliances—such as lighting, Wi-Fi routers, or refrigerators—to remain powered during a grid outage. While optional, this feature can be particularly valuable in areas with frequent blackouts.

It’s important to note that your battery system will still function effectively without the backup circuit. The battery will continue to store and supply energy to your home, helping reduce your reliance on the grid. However, the backup circuit adds an extra layer of energy security by ensuring power to critical devices during outages.
