Collection: Addon 9.6kwh battery for $1990 after Federal government rebate.

The Australian Government has announced a $2.3 billion initiative, as part of their 2025 Federal Election campaign, to make home battery systems more affordable. Starting July 1, 2025 eligible households can receive a rebate of up-to $370 per usable kilowatt-hour (kWh), potentially reducing the cost of a typical battery installation by about 30%.

This program aims to help Australians store solar energy for use during peak times, leading to lower electricity bills and increased energy independence.

What are the key features?

  • Batteries installed between now and 1 July are still eligible (must be switched on after 1 July  2025)
  • Rebates available for eligible battery systems 5kWh – 50kWh useable capacity. However a system up to 100kWh can be installed.
  • Eligible to be stacked with existing state rebates.
  • If you have an exisiting you can install another/additional system and be eligible.
  • Must be installed and attached to a new/existing solar system.
